I saw this ad the other day for Apple’s new iMac minis. What was not surprising is that Apple was using rap artist Young Jeezy to promote their new line of micro computers. Most adults out there would not know Young Jeezy from a hot rock, but you can bet your bottom dollar that your kids know who he is. He is one
of the hottest rap acts going right now. Is there a reason why Apple is the only one doing things like this?

Of course, Young Jeezy probably is not so hip that he knows about the Usenet. The Usenet has been around a lot longer than the World Wide Web, and there are still die-hard fans that use it to exchange ideas, files, papers and all kinds of things. These companies provide unlimited access to all of the binary newsgroups that exist and keep the files available for months after they are posted. Good deal for $15 / month or whatever they charge if you ask me.
